Today divorce is at its all time high. People are looking to the church for help. Many churches have turned their back on families in crisis such as divorce.
In general, people do not plan to get a divorce. Something very horrific usually happens to destroy the trust a person feels for the other. Many times adultery, drugs, alcohol or physical and mental abuse occur.
The church community needs more then ever to reach out their hands to give comfort and aid to someone dealing with this emotional and time of need that these families are dealing with.
