Grief and Aromatherapy Wraps

Each and everyone of us deal with grief in a different way. Many of us need to talk about what happened until we just can not do it any more. Other people need to be alone with their feelings and just want the event to go away.


It will take many of us months before the pain of the event does not cause us to cry. I have found since the death of my son, I turned to a lavender cape to help me sleep and control the anxiety that I deal with since his death. It has been six weeks since his tragic death and I still cry and have some nights when I can not sleep. Lavender seems to help calm me so I can fall asleep.  The heat helps me feel safe and relax my muscles so I stop hurting. I then fall asleep easily and wake up more refreshed and rejuvenated ready to tackle a new day with a more positive attitude and a smile on my face.  Lavender has become my best friend.

Cypress – to help you find purpose.
Frankincense – to promote faith.
Hyssop – for strength.
Juniper – for renewal.
Marjoram – for comfort.
Rose – for comfort.
Rosemary – to improve your perception.
Sage – to help you focus.

You can add these to a bath or place a few drops on a handkerchief and inhale them directly.
